Star Wars The Phantom Menace. Hey guys, today is my Birthday, i just turned 35. :) I wanted to finally say a few words on this prequel film. It's also totally based on the fact i saw it again in the cinema in 2012. in its 3D Reissue in an Extreme 3D theatre. Pod race made my adult self explode in childish amazement yet again, this segment is the most enjoyable ecstatic part of the film, but ofcourse with all the other segments of the film which were ecstatic, which is most of the film for me. The film carries an adolescent science fiction fantasy swimming in fantasy-based worlds and realities that it almost feels like a high drug experience. It also perfectly captures the spirituality of now mythic times of the end of 20Th century, and the year 1999. The climax of the film goes to the furthest reaches of the digital fantasy induced hyper realm, and is one of the standouts in history of cinema. For all of these reasons, for Lucas having the balls to do this, and despite the heavy critique it has received, i give this film 5 stars and applaud his efforts. Night7.
