Clever, knowing, funny dialogue and a pretty good story line. The best fantasy game linked movie to date.

Not much happens but it is very moving. The acting is fantastic, the admittedly light, story is well told and we really invest with both characters.
A film that stays with you long after you have watched it.

A very good film based on a novel. The story is excellent, the dialogue is taut, the acting is great Steve Coogan in particular is outstanding. Set in South Africa towards the end of apartheid, it comes down hard on the regime and their interpretation of death penalty at the time.
Uncomfortable to watch at times, it puts its point across well, although i have to admit the possibility of confirmation bias contributing to my enjoyment of the film.
With this caveat, I thoroughly recommend this movie.
