on a serious note, overall this was good and had a lot going for it! the action scenes, the incredible score, sweaty emo robert pattinson; the works! however, the pacing and overall length of this movie is ridiculous, and the story devolving into what it did (a failed social commentary about the corruption of policing institutions and the effects that hoarding wealth has on the individual and the society around them…featuring incels with assault rifles) made this movie lose any real sense of credibility for me.

fake MSG flooding was cool and the batman and riddler facetiming is one of the most iconic images of the year. i’ll take it for what it’s worth!
