Nick Georgiou’s review published on Letterboxd:
I found this a much more enjoyable film than the film who's footsteps it sort of followed in, Searching.
The plot was nothing groundbreaking but it holds your attention from the minute the young girl realises her mum is missing right up to the dramatic finale.
All the computer/apple phone went over my head a bit (I'm a loyal Samsung customer) but I guess that's the way these type of movies operate now,all via modern technology.
On a sidenote, nia long is still incredibly attractive today just as much as she was back in the day in movies like friday.
