The Happytime Murders 2018
Somehow managing to be neither funny, nor a good detective film, The Happytime Murders is a threadbare excuse to string together scenes depicting raunchy puppet sex. I have nothing against puppet sex, but it's a god-awful punchline to keep using over and over in your flaccid fever dream of a film.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves 2023
A film that seems like it's from an earlier time, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is, in a word, charming. Although somewhat uneven and off-balance in its ensemble characterization, the film manages to be both incredibly entertaining and genuinely funny, with story beats and hijinks that mirror a true tabletop campaign without pandering or coming off as contrived.
