The Apple 1980
A visual delight with nearly non-stop musical sequences that all vaguely sound like any song from those generic 80s Hits compilation CDs that you would get at Walmart for $5 as a child, intensely obvious yet ultimately meaningless religious (?) metaphors about a range of topics including the music industry, sex, drugs, conformity, etc., a mildly homophobic lead character that is constantly surrounded by the gayest supporting cast and background dancers of all time, Miriam Margolyes, and a completely impossible to follow plot. I actually love it!
