Just a person who enjoys film
Favourites are my 4 highest rated films released in the last 10 years
This movie literally flew by, I haven’t seen a film yet with better pacing. It’s very emotional and raw which is a credit to the entire cast. Not one performance in this film whether large or small was bad. Renner and Olsen clearly standout.
The thing about this movie that I love is it dives deeper into the trauma and grief experienced by the families of victims. Instead of just displaying a few scenes of the families grief it shows…
This film succeeds where most other heist films fail. Firstly, Michael Mann took the time needed to craft a magnificent story with great character development. Secondly, neither the police or the heist crew had a definitive antagonistic/protagonist role which I feel most heist movies also fail in.
Pacing was perfect, even with the long runtime the movie flew by. Great performances. Technically and visually this film was everything it needed to be.
This was horribly written and cringey. There also wasn’t any stakes for the characters on a personal level which made me not really care. I kinda liked it though. Best part of the film was Kang, Jonathan Majors did the best he could with that script.
This is probably the most heartfelt MCU movie I’ve seen. The character development not only for Rocket but for the others especially Drax was also very good.
