Nicholas’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is one of the only romances I’ve ever seen that understands just how crucial memory is. Especially with regards to love and desire. As the film goes on it starts utilizing very poetic imagery and sounds to convey this idea that sometimes your own perceptions and remembrance of someone you’ve loved may just be the most important aspect over anything else. It’s something that isn’t often explored in romantic films; so the fact that it is explored here, and the fact that it’s done so beautifully is just overwhelming.
