It is hard. Don't get me wrong, it isn't hard to rate this series 'cause it is a masterpiece; experiencing it, that was hard to me. I couldn't handle watching more then one episode at the time. It is childish for sure, but this series wrecked this sorry-ass-depressed-as-f*** brain of mine. This story awakened something inside me; feelings that should remain dormant and undisturbed. I'm low-key obsessed with this movie, how hiper- and sur-realistic it is (sometimes the line between this two categories is blurred), how deeply humane and strangely warm it is, how it is playing with early-late-capitalism world of the 80s.
And this music - it's hard not to vibe with it.
PS "I'm 6'3'' tall and maintain a very consistent panda bear shape" - pure gold.

I'm not going to write huge note about the movie; it is a modern classic. Period. Now - after 3rd rewatch - I am even more convinced, that Villeneuve is my favorite genre director currently working in the industry and Arrival is one the best high concept SF movies of all time.
