Genghis Blues 1999
A genuine and heartfelt story about a blind musician who finds kinship with an isolated Asian culture. The duality of Paul's depression and health problems juxtaposed with his feeling of finally belonging somewhere in a place he can't see or understand is touching. There is a deep sadness throughout the whole film, but the heart of it all is undeniable.
