  genuinely brilliant. whip-smart, nuanced, manages to be over-the-top without beating you over the head. the most uncomfortable i’ve been in a movie theater possibly ever, and i occasionally get paid to watch horror movies! i recommend this to anyone who can handle it (i.e. who can handle a lot of cringe, medical horror, and projectile vomiting).

  i immediately went home and recited the entire plot of this movie to my girlfriend just so i could confirm that it was real. five stars
