This one was a step up from the first 2 installments. I loved the premise and setting, and enjoyed how they connected it to the first movie. They really embraced the possibilities of the Freddy concept this time, and brought in a lot of body horror elements. Of the ones I’ve seen this is probably the best realization of what the Elm Street franchise should be.
