    When I say I fell in love with an animated film which has Oliva Colman as a tyrannical iPhone, jokes about bygone internet memes, a soundtrack with Grimes, Talking Heads and Sigur Ros and a giant fucking furby, I mean it.

    Joseph Gordon-Levitt may be the star of the show, but the way Brady Corbet shakes and shouts in the final moments of it all is truly what will replay in my head over and over again. With the thread gone, he's unbound by sinking mystery, left with only crushing pain. The unrelenting horrors of trauma knife a little deeper into both boys' skin as they burn away from reality, two broken souls lost in a sea of black.

    The added touch of Samskeyti by Sigur Ros left every goosebump alit on my arms.
