Finally had a chance to watch this in Imax.
I was surprised how popular this film still is, the theatre was quite packed for a random wednesday.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, it might be my third favourite Nolan movie. I loved the first two hours. Everything leading up to the trinity test flowed so well, the pacing was immaculate. And then you get what you came for, the explosion, which thanks to the great build up was so worth it.…
One of the few movies where every frame is a painting!
I was blown away. Somehow it was even better than I expected and I had some very high expectations.
Only downside is that this is only the first part. I want the rest now!! Or when it's good and ready, a masterpiece like this is worth waiting for!
What an entertaining ride!
Going in I expected nothing. This movie being postponed for what felt like an eternity didn't really help. But finally it was here.
