Overall Soderbergh usually leaves me feeling indifferent, one thing is for certain he is an extremely versatile filmmaker and continues to prove that over and over. I found the use of fish eye lens more of a peripheral distraction, just one of those aesthetic decisions that didn’t really seem to add anything. All in all this is a densely packed genre exercise with a rich ensemble cast that keeps the wheels always moving and the dialogue compelling. The pacing and presentation feels almost like a glorified episode from a mini series, one that I would definitely continue to watch.
