Le troisième acte vient sauver un film qui jusque là était surtout fucking cruel envers le spectateur. Je comprends qu'il n'aurait pas été aussi glorieux sans le début, mais siboire que ça devient lourd et te fait haïr l'être humain, en plus du jeu d'acteur et des dialogues questionnables de la part des personnages humains, qui te font regretter que ça ne soit pas un film qu'avec des chiens.

The craft on display here is undeniably awe-inspiring but this is a whole bunch of hectic nothingness stripped of the wit and soul of the first film. More a bloated advertisement for the next one without any pay-off or rich emotional stakes and plenty of cameos and terminally online in-jokes than it is a fresh, invigorating spin on the already tired multiverse gimmick. Desperately wanted to love this but it ultimately just feels like painstakingly designed but exhausting eye candy.

The only thing wrong with this is that it’s only a short film and not a full length. Peter Strickland best be busy getting the funds to turn this into a feature because damn this was beautiful. And yay, huge plus for all that cock!!!

Amanda is a mash-up of styles but feels like quite a unique Italian indie. The sense of comedic narcissism is what makes it so intriguing, along with its playful tone. A lot of praise has to go to Benedetta Porcaroli for her top performance. She captures the style of the story so well and takes you for a ride.

Reality is such a fascinating war of words. The execution is simple, but the depth of each scene is deeply astounding—major praise to Sydney Sweeney for her performance.
