Still really fun for a LEGO movie with everyone's beloved speedster and very short. The villain is there, but the animation, colors and heart it's in the right place. Also, the Justice League fits well here.

    Grade: Epictastic

Fave part is when a man sees a giant shark swallow an entire boat whole and says "Jesus Christ!" which leads to another man correcting him by saying "No.. the black demon!"

Like thank GOD they cleared that up, bc I so thought Christ was a SHARK in the OCEAN eating BOATS

    🤦‍♂️

I just...want...a...straight-forward...decently made...killer shark movie to watch in a theater every few years, come on!! Or anywhere really, but ideally on the big screen where movies belong. This is not a shark movie. It has the least amount of shark I've ever seen in an above-board movie touting itself as shark-oriented (aka not like some DTV smear like "Noah's Shark" which was home movie nonsense that never took place anywhere near water). This is metaphorror, aka the growing trend…

“Just like the first, this film has loads of style. It is oozing it. Every sequence just feels so damn cool. And yet, it is filled with depth and substance. Every character is on a journey that feels relatable.

“I thought this was absolutely spectacular, I think these two films are…two of the best comic book films ever made. I think that people are really gonna like it.”

“This movie feels so big, the scope is insane. The film traverses the globe…it feels like a sprawling James Bond film, except with a lot of hyper violence. [This film] is easily my favorite of the sequels. I think this movie is absolutely amazing.”

No amount of shit can prepare you how batshit Malignant is. I am saying this from the bottom of my heart that the last thirty minutes had me laughing and screaming "what the fuck" plenty of times.

Man, it would have been so much fun to watch this with my bros.

Honestly one of Adam Sandlers better comedies and movies. I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would because at its core, it was just another Adam Sandler comedy but it was better then most of his recent ones at the time.

Sandler and Berrymore have great  chemistry together, I’m interested to see the other films they were in together. The kid actors did a decent job they really cracked me up in a few scenes. Bella Thorne was…

I like Rose Matafeo... However, the Baby may be Done, but the movie is half-baked ...

I WAS going to watch "Rosaline", since I knew it was disappearing shortly; I just never realised *how* soon... I missed it by four days, and now I'll probably never get to see it, ever? Nice work, Disney, you absolute MouseHoles! :-(

  • Badlands

    Marianna Neal

    ★★★★ Watched by Marianna Neal 29 May 2023 5

The most chilling thing about this film is how mundane and cold the murders feel. Brutal and merciless. And yet Kit and Holly are young and in love, the landscape is vast, it's them against the world, and the guy is channeling James Dean... The romanticized idea of rebellious lovers on the run next to the trail of bodies they leave behind is something else!

The fact that this was Terrence Malick's directorial debut is pretty insane.
