there’s just something special about a film that can make me feel so incredibly lonely while also making me giggle like a teenager.

I remember enjoying the book when I read it (quite a few years ago now) and I’ve always wanted to see the show. In spite of all the negative reviews I was looking forward to watching the film, thinking it would at least tug on the heartstrings and be moderately enjoyable. Safe to say I was wrong.

Actually thought this was really funny but would have been improved by watching it on split screen with subway surfer gameplay underneath like on TikTok.

LOVED how this felt like sitting with Phoebe Waller-Bridge and just having a nice chat.

Also I forgot I was in the cinema at one point and let out a pretty loud sob which gave the people behind me a good laugh :/
