    This was one of the best grief-as-a-metaphor for the horror movies out there...exceptionally well acted by Hall -- the tension and pacing keep you glued for the duration. You keep waiting for the other shoe to drop and when it does - oh boy is it creepy!

    This sort of absence of a straight forward monster...the void this represents really elevated the material and made me remember high school art class with negative space assignments lol.

    Genuinely creepy execution of the haunted house story...works because the lighting and atmosphere is dang near flawless. So cool to see someone who started out doing silly youtube videos more than a decade ago come this far.

    This is the second time I've seen this movie since I originally watched it in theaters and I remembered not liking it, but almost 20 years on and I think it is....AWESOME.

    It's got everything you could want really...and by the end you're really left wanting another 30-45 mins of story...honestly. This could have been a series. Maybe I just love post-apocalyptic stuff too much, but this has aged very well.
