Rafael Jovine’s review published on Letterboxd:
Two stoned guys get into a lot of trouble with the law and start to breakthrough in the music world.
Look, while the last two acts of the movie do often fall into quality, or at least aren't as strong as the first one, there is enough comedy gold in those first minutes that will be sealed on my mind forever. From the two stoners intro scene to the whole dog s**t joint, which still have me rolling on the floor just thinking about it. Most of the performances are pretty good and some of the songs are kinda funny, definitely one of the best stoner comedies out there.
All in all, while there are other movies within the subgenre made by the likes of Seth Rogen that have a strong narrative and jokes throughout its runtime, this was a very fun time, and again, that joint joke. LOL
