  The album is a fucking ravager but it got SO annoying when the songs kept fading out or cutting to some "cinematic" event. Like, we don't need it! Let it keep going!!

  Minor bullshit like that aside, our queen is transforming out of this divorce, and I'm glad she's got a whole-ass album for us to dive into Friday. I have burnt the grooves of my Golden Hour vinyl and need this so badly right now.

  American Honey...

  Writing this review feels like I'm trying to be original about a movie like Citizen Kane or A Clockwork Orange.

  Now, I'm certainly not comparing them, but I would be lying if I said it didn't have the same magnitude of effect on me.
