I’ve been catching up on some Mark Wahlberg films I have yet to see when I came across “2 Guns” also starring Denzel Washington, I had no idea that Bill Paxton, James Marsden and Edward James Olmos also co-starred which made for an interesting cast.

The film was hilariously entertaining and Wahlberg, as usual, had the majority of the best zingers. I enjoyed the back and forth he and Washington had, I believe this was a perfect pairing because they…

I favored the last story most, the acceptance of change and the burden of worry washed away, literally. I found it portrayed this in a positive way, whereas the first two segments were chaotic, and for the most part negative in their outcome.

Every few years we’re introduced to an updated or retelling of this classic tale of carnage. This installment attempts to elaborate, or rather, directly tie into the events of the original 1974 film.

As per the usual formula, a group of youngsters are traveling through remote parts of Texas. This particular group is heading to Harlow, Texas having purchased the ghost town, of sorts, to try and revamp as some utopian society where they can strive to achieve a safer…
