The Godfather

The Godfather ★★★★★

Watched THE GODFATHER (1972) by Francis Ford Coppola, on the big screen at a real movie theatre for the first time.
Thanks to Folkets Bio/The People's Cinema in Umeå, Sweden.

Three hours went by very quickly and it never felt too long.
The cinematography was incredibly BEAUTIFUL at the big screen.

Marlon Brando and Al Pacino are of course excellent, but so are Robert Duvall, in my opinion. This time I also noticed Sterling Hayden and Ricardo Conte more, compared to earlier watches.

What a REMARKABLE film this is!
Cinema perfection in a time of very creative and dynamic filmmaking; the glorious seventies.

It doesn't get more classy than this.
