Claire denis seems to be like the most unreal director alive? Every single film that I’ve seen from her seems to shock me while I watch them. And they linger, and they linger even more. Until I begin to fall in love with them. With this film, I question why a story like this is made. I wonder what went through Beatrice Dalle and Vincent Gallos minds when they first read this script. Claire denis is a mastermind and no one could ever recreate what she does. She’s truly a unique storyteller. I can’t wait for my next venture into her filmography!
