Kiki’s Delivery Service is another delightful film from Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli. While it may not have as much imagination as the usual films from the Studio, it has twice the amount
of heart. It’s a film that’s just so joyful. I don’t think it’s possible to watch this without having a smile on your face in at least a few moments throughout. Kiki is such an amazing character. She was very well developed. The movie has a lot meanings to it. The animation is just gorgeous in the film. Every scene in this was lushing with color. It’s what I’ve come to expect from Ghibli. Their animation is so refreshing from the usual 3D animation that we get now a days. It’s such a pretty film to look at. It’s visually stunning. The movie is so fun as well. There were a moment or two that went on for too long but other than this it was perfectly paced. The ending of it was also spectacular. It was a prefect way to tie the film together. I absolutely loved this. It’s such an amazing movie. I was thinking about giving this a 3.5 but after thinking about it I just become more in love with it. I had to give it a 4. It’s definitely not my favorite Ghibli. That’s really just because their all so good. I’m excited to watch even more of their films. There are a good amount of that them that I’m still yet to see. This and almost every other film from the studio make me feel nostalgic. It’s not like I grew up with any of them but they just make me feel like I’m child. They bring you make to such a simpler times. The beautiful score also helps with this. Ghibli films have some of the best music. It’s just an adorable film. I love this movie and I’d highly recommend it. Overall Kiki’s Delivery Service is such a nice feel good movie from Studio Ghibli.
