The Northman 2022
Probably the only decent Skyrim-type movie we’ll ever see. Seeing some Hamlet comparisons as well (his name is Amleth), but if it was adapted by a AAA video game developer like whoever made The Witcher or Ghost of Tsushima.
Had a good time and visually it looked really cool, but this will probably go the way of The Green Knight in that everyone will scream “fantasy! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ “ and then completely forget about it come year-end best of roundups. Skarsgard is a raving maniac.
[EDIT] Oh okay, reading now that this folktale is actually one of the source stories for Hamlet

Overnight 2003
Hollywood loves giving psychos millions of dollars so much that they went out to find more. I wish there were even more canceled people in this movie than Weinstein and Rubin—like a world where Kevin Spacey was in Boondock Saints would have been the icing on the cake—that or if Troy’s film was a complete success.
