  “The Banana Bros”

  One of the most overlooked movies in recent memory. With the insane love Puss in Boots: The Last Wish has gotten (which is deserved), I’m surprised more people didn’t revisit Joel Crawford’s other Dreamworks sequel from just 2 years prior, as it’s not only excellent (and even better in my opinion), but genuinely a tightly wound, gorgeously animated, and satisfyingly sweet family movie. You don’t even have to have seen the first one, just watch this one and join the The Croods: A New Age fan club!

  “I’m done runnin’.”

  The MCU’s epilogue.

  Drax slumping over towards the middle of the crowd only to break into dance once the beat drops summarizes the message so perfectly, a bittersweet goodbye to the old, but the biggest, warmest welcome to the new. Runs the gamut of emotions. A perfect movie to watch with new friends.
