This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

When you try to put everything on a bagel, you end up with a surreal masterpiece that makes you want to knock a man unconscious with two gigantic dildos, cook with a raccoon on your head, shove a trophy/butt plug up your ass in order to jump to a different universe, become a rock, and give your mother the biggest hug imaginable. Just… wow. Run to your local theatre.

This is what happens when folks have deep-rooted, unresolved, critical childhood trauma. Bruh, I will pay for your therapy

This was hard for me to watch at first because cancer has affected my family this year and in some ways throughout the process I have felt like Billi, but it ended up being really comforting. I needed a good cry.

Somehow the slowest and the fastest movie in history. I always thought he was just a pretty face but Butler is absolutely mesmerizing, and he alone gives this film an extra half star. Hanks is…kind of just there. When will he make a good movie again?

I’m not by any means a Baz Luhrmann fan but I have to hand it to him on the accuracy. It’s true, Forrest Gump did indeed create Elvis Presley! Just kidding, Baz. You can’t just acknowledge racial injustice and not dig deeper… felt performative to me. Yikes!

“Why do I smile a lot? Because it’s worth it.”
Saw this joyful little movie at the Alamo Drafthouse, grabbed an order card to write this quote down and stuck it in my purse.

This is the most uplifting shit I have ever seen. If you’re having a tough time right now, go see this film.

Bowing down to the queen, Jenny Slate, as per usual.
