I didn't know Mad Max noir horror existed before this, and I'm not sure it's something I needed in my life.

King of Noir Robert Ryan is impeccable as always as one of the leads in this, and Harry Belafonte is quite captivating as well. The tension between their two characters is at times dated but also feels very real for the time it was released.
The jazzy score is just the icing on the cake with the solid plot and performances from the whole cast.
