Godard was a visionary in every sense. In awe of his filmmaking prowess.

The personal and the political dialectic is played with using sight and sound. In the struggle relating to you, you must understand yourself and your battle to understand the struggles elsewhere.

This is just one of many topics this DENSE film touches on, it also talks on spectacle, personal struggles and political work, the protracted nature of revolution (very appropriate to be released so near to the reversal of the cultural revolution)

A valuable work in the continuing synthesis of the sciences of marxism (now: maoism) and psychoanalysis.

the perfect adaptation. the imagery of the book was captured fantastically and then elevates it to fantastical heights.

a blast to watch. margort robbie and ryan gosling knock it out of the park as ken. incredibly funny. a few scenes got to me emotionally as well.
politically, its v weak. incredibly liberal and its attempts to explain patriarchy fall flat.
its nice to see more blockbusters with character, you can feel greta gerwig's style
