  The Matrix Resurrections is an incredible achievement: A perfect sequel to a widely misunderstood trilogy of films that, thankfully, never sells-out the narrative resolution of the previous chapters for the audience they lost in 2003. More unexpectedly it’s also a thematic sequel to Speed Racer, tackling Lana’s feelings on art vs commerce, and ownership in 2021. It expands the world of The Matrix into beautiful new directions that I hope get explored with more films, shows, games, what have you. I cannot wait to watch it again and again.
