They do a great job of making Patrick an insufferable pretentious know it all psychopath asshole who says things like ‘I insist’ when you refuse his whims.
I’d have let my bairn cry all the way home rather than have went back though. And then they stay! They actually stay. They are arseholes.
It’s like ESH on a Reddit AITA.
When the crux of it came around it was decent to watch, but I still didn’t get what the point of it all was, from the antagonists POV.
