This was actually a lot of fun. Great action. Well choreographed fight scenes. Brad Pitt plays a combination of the dude from Big Lebowski and Thor from Love and Thunder but isn't quite the natural that Jeff Bridges and Chris Hemsworth are.
The real stars of the film are Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Brian Tyree Henry as the twins. The dialogue and banter between the two of them is absolutely fantastic and their relationship even a bit touching, I honestly wish they had been the main stars and would love to see more of their characters.
The great Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon and Joey King we're all excellent in supporting roles. Some pretty fun cameos as well.
It does have a few issues holding it back. It isn't always easy to follow. At times it feels more style over substance. Outside of the twins it has some pretty atrocious cringe worthy dialogue, one scene in particular sees someone who's just been poisoned being bombarded by terrible one liners as they are dying that had me begging please for the love of God just stop already!
Issues aside, they weren't enough to stop me from having a good time.
Also. It blows my mind this didn't cost even half what The Grey Man did to make yet is far superior.
