I'm not generally a hug fan of Film Noir – I find the plots too convoluted to be engaging. However, Billy Wilder's classic take on the genre avoids a lot of the usual tropes (no Private Investigator for example) and delivers a fairly straightforward, but very watchable and quite enjoyable, story built around an insurance scam. 7/10.
