I'm on a spree of Haneke's filmography and this is the third one that I've watched. I've seen Amour and Funny Games and all I can say is that, he's amazing at calming his audiences at first, intrigue them, surprise them with a bolt from the blue, and then leave them with questions in their heads. I love it when movies doesn't spoon feed me with almost all the information. This is definitely one of them.
I actually have watched this last year. Kinda forgot to add it here and remembered because of the SAG awards snub for Kristen Stewart. Like, really... SAG??
This was one of the best performances by an actress last year and they didn't bother giving her a nomination.
I hope they will not do it again for the Oscars.
Also, this film is visually stunning. And don't forget Jonny Greenwood's score. *chef's kiss*
