Masterpiece. It somehow gets you to feel every emotion of being a teenager in the span of less than 100 minutes. I’m so excited for Gia Coppola’s new movie.
Also, I don’t think the people calling this “fake deep” are being very fair, nor do I think they actually paid much attention to the dialogue in this movie. It touches on so many real issues and doesn’t glamorize any of the various wrongdoings of the different characters; I struggle to see how it can get much more real than this. I simply don’t see how anyone who’s been a teenager or literally ever seen a teenager could watch this and call it “fake deep.” If this is fake deep, then what’s real deep?
