  good character lesson by making the plot flip on its head by making the audience root for the ground and then shockingly reveal that he was the natural predator all along.

  What’s great about this film is Rick’s character. The scenes are written well to show he’s a man of importance. His setup to change is reinforced by his dialogue: I don’t stick out my neck for nobody. 
  Planting and payoffs work great in this movie. It’s truly a lesson for screenwriters. 
  Plus the emotion: We’ll always have Paris.

  Black Swan 2010

  Blew my mind. Every dialogue, every action, all in accordance with the theme i.e. metamorphosis into the black swan.

  The finale was just beautiful. It was like watching a ballet and watching the life of the artist at the same time and understanding so much of what goes in a performance.  I am sure that’s the case with every movie with heros but running this one entwined with the theme is what’s awe-worthy.
