Mockingjack’s review published on Letterboxd:
Let me start by saying, I had a great time watching this and think it has to be seen on the big screen.
Okay now that that’s out of the way, the screenplay is a mess. There’s characters that are paper thin, motivations that aren’t clear, and the thing rushes to get to the big fight sequences.
The visuals are great and most of the cast does their best, though I noticed Millie Bobbie Brown struggles to shed her accent on some words and couldn’t tell if she was trying that hard to seem engaging or not.
Overall it’s a blast to watch, I just wish it’s story could be better.
