Sensational. Exquisitely shot. An almost alien story, but so grounded. And this film gets sound and music, my god.

Nicole Kidman seriously has to be one of the very best actresses of our time. Was I the only person that, as soon as this movie ended, immediately went to look up who had passed away on their birthday!? Haha. Subtleties such as the choice of never really showing a clear image of deceased Sean's face in the opening scene are what really set this strange mystery apart from many others. I would write a longer review, but it's past 4AM and I'm very exhausted. One thing is for certain though: excitement level for Under the Skin is officially through the roof.

I really have mixed feelings about this film. I recognize Aronofsky's genius throughout definitely, but this film had everything to be a masterpiece, which it certainly wasn't. It sort of felt like the plot was too complex for the director to handle. It is not Aronofsky's genre, so that's why this is his worst. He should stick with his bizarre and genius style which was noticeable in Pi (1998) and his masterpiece Requiem for a Dream (2000).

    The film has…

    4.4!!!! LOL

As a movie, I think that many people who rated this didn't take that into consideration, as it is very, very mediocre, and many scenes are stereotypical and there is nothing new in it, and its effect is completely vanished after it is finished....

By the way Spider-Man: Homecoming is the best movie in this trilogy

Thoughts About What Dreams May Come:
    - Nothing that is supposed to be emotional works. I can usually go for some good sap, but here It is all forced cheese- particularly the use of his children. Without getting into too far of spoiler details, the way and…

Did anyone ask you in the past whether if you had seen a film which has a terrific premise and a strong first half, and then wastes everything down the toilet in the second half? Could you come up with an answer? If you couldn't, this one is what you should answer. I was literally absorbed, and then bored, like seducing a girl and make her to fall in love with you just so you slap her in the face right after that.

A meditation on devotion and generational disconnect in the mode of Ozu. It treats death with dignity, tenderness, and ultimately a resigned acceptance.
