Though some of the COVID stuff becomes eye-rollingly on-the-nose in the climactic act of the film, this is otherwise a great deal of fun. Kevin Williamson seems deadset on reminding us (as he did in Scream, Scream 2 and IKWYDLS in the late 90s) how important great chase scenes are to slasher films and delivers time and time again here, and tension is built expertly well during the set-up.
