Movie enthusiast. Like you, probably.

Good movies help people think about the biggest questions of life, and I like to do that too.

This is so much fun! The first act especially was some of the coolest fight choreography I’ve seen in forever. Some of the performances are a little goofy and I don’t understand why Marvel insists of working in some stupid joke every time something big happens, but otherwise I thought this was really good. Tony Leung and Michelle Yeoh are easily the best performances (obviously).

And at this point I can confirm, my boy Simu Liu is in fact cold with it.

The best thing Jesse Vile does here is let the members of Team Foxcatcher tell the Foxcatcher story. These guys actually felt bad for John DuPont. And even better than the film, this sort of documents his declining mental health, and you can clearly see that he was seriously ill.

Also Mark Schultz commentating about Dave absolutely broke me. Such a sad story. Check on your friends.

This is trending on Netflix which proves a well tested theory:

If Jennifer Aniston is in it, it will trend on Netflix.

It’s so bad though. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a movie where every scene is truly unnecessary to the plot. Also, I’m not sure I understand the plot.

I still haven’t met a Clint Eastwood feature that I didn’t like. I thought this was awesome all the way through.

Also I’m convinced that Sam Rockwell could play any role that us mere mortals could possibly dream up.
