this is the first time i've found a dubbed version where at the end, Jiji doesn't call out, "Kiki, can you hear me?" and thus this is probably the saddest Ghibli film i've ever seen

but also it is the warmest and perfect "escape from the real world" films. the town where Kiki settles is also my dream town, so if anyone knows where i can move so i too can own a bakery by the seaside, lmk
