i've seen this film so many fucking times and i still can't tell you why i love it as much as i do. this film is the ultimate bandaid, healing every wound and weary heart's ache. it's silly, it's magical, its landscape is absolutely dreamy -- and more than anything else, this film is genuine.

Kiki's is equal parts escapism and a reminder that the world right before you is yours to discover, yours to embrace, yours to call home if that's what you wish.
