feel like pure shit just miss and want her (nancy) and them (the other dream warriors characters with all of the same actors) back

watchable enough i suppose but i struggled to enjoy this one since a lot of choices made irritated me like the choice to bring characters back with an actor change as well for them to all just die just like that and move on to new characters. it might not have bothered me so much if i hadn’t literally just watched dream warriors, but changing the actress playing kristen was so distracting and really took me out of it. i already wasn’t a fan of the dream warriors ending but it seemed even more pointless here. i feel like they could’ve just worked at least one of them in somehow in some other way like they did with working nancy into the second film with her diary. the deaths in dream warriors were impactful too and you actually cared for the characters and that was lost here even though characters i’d really liked in the previous film were brought back but they were kind of just there to die as well as the distracting acting change. none of the new characters were particularly likeable or memorable either (already can’t remember some of their names) and the acting in this one is the worst yet. i think i’m generally quite forgiving when it comes to acting in horror films too but god it’s bad here
