i finally watched this and i don’t know what to say. not much can be said about the godfather that hasn't already be said. now i get it all the hype around this film. WOW WHAT A FLAWLESS PIECE OF ART. wish i had more stars to give. i couldn't think of a single flaw, everything about this film is amazing! the score is iconic, the period details are spot on, and the whole film is beautifully executed. for long runtime, the pacing is immaculate, the story draws you in. full of beautiful shots composed by a careful eye, abundant in real emotions and complexities of human relations. the characters, the narrative, the visuals and the themes all come together to create this experience. the performances, especially from marlon brando and al pacino are brilliant. is so incredibly well-made and acted that it stands out among the rest of those other films. coppola really made history with this film. a classical masterpiece for a reason. this film is an offer no one can refuse. simply the best work of art in human history.
