LFF Film #16
Check out my review here.
Just another great Mads Mikkelsen/Thomas Vinterberg movie that I think I prefer to The Hunt. Between this and Bloody Nose, Empty Pockets showing so comparatively early I'm pretty sure LFF's main goal is to turn us all into alcoholics this year - but honestly, this was just a blast, and one of those movies where you just want to stick on and rewatch again as soon as it's over, quietly reflective and subversive at the same time in how it tackles alcohol addiction, hitting hard when it wants to especially in the final act.
