Mark M.’s review published on Letterboxd:
Rian Johnson’s Knives Out is a clever and entertaining whodunnit with a political twist to the story. The cast is chock full of stars young and old. It’s newcomer Ana de Armas who really shines in her role, though. The screenplay deserved its Oscar nomination. The dialogue is brimming with hilarious and witty one liners. The story is very cleverly developed, intertwining a classic murder mystery with modern political commentary. The directing is great, too. I thought this film lost some steam towards the end, but overall this was a lot of fun to watch!
