Definitely up there when it comes to my favourite action movie of all-time, Terminator 2: Judgement Day is still fucking phenomenal. Genuinely must be nearly 10 years since I last saw it and somehow it still holds up. The story, the action and the visual/special effects across the board are all fantastic and despite the franchise never really being able to reach these heights again, this was as high as you could get.

Oppenheimer arrives and does exactly what we all thought it would, amaze. Christopher Nolan perfectly crafts an excellent, thrilling biopic about J. Robert Oppenheimer who created the Atomic Bomb. One of the most anticipated movies of the year definitely lives up to the huge hype that surrounded it and arguably exceeds every bit of it, it’s my best movie of the year and honestly I can’t see it being topped.
