Milez Das’s review published on Letterboxd:
Once every decade a filmmaker comes and changes everything you know about Cinema. Kubrick did with 2001, Kurosawa with Seven Samurai, Coppola with The Godfather, Ray with The Apu Trilogy and many more.
Tommy Wiseau has redefined cinema with The Room. He created a universe of his own. Every frame is a dream. Every character is perfect. The final scene destroys you in every sense. I can't believe I didn't watch this movie until now. The scene where Johnny says Johnny: YOU'RE TEARING ME APART, LISA! is just cinematic perfection.
Daniel Day Lewis watched this movie recently and decided to quit acting because he knew he can't match the performance of Tommy Wiseau.
The sex scenes are better when 21 Guns by Green Day is playing in the background.
It is a masterpiece... A Disaster Masterpiece!
