Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 ★★★

Yondu: I'm Mary Poppins, y'all!

Capitalizing on it is previous outing which took everyone by surprise and entertained with making Groot one of the most beloved characters, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 starts with the team saving a planet from some creature, as the opening credits start to roll Gunn hold everyone's attention towards the Baby Groot and its cuteness and what is even wonderful is that Gunn always uses Baby Groot whenever he felt that there is some issue with the pacing or anything and it works to be honest as everyone in the theater were smitten by Baby Groot and I think that is the only thing everyone might have taken away with them.

Inspiring from Star Wars, The Little Prince to Fast and the Furious, even using temp score from Mad Max Fury Road, it even looked like it was made during the making of Doctor Strange, the good thing about this movie is how the characters were used. Everyone gets their time to shine bright.

Peter meeting his father, Gamora and Nebula's sister moments, Drax being Drax, Yondu and Rocket...

Again what Marvel fails to create a villain to be remembered for. The appearance of Kurt Russell will make every fan boy scream through their lungs as they should, he makes his appearance worth, it is not his fault that his character was the same ordinary plot that has been used many a times throughout the history of Cinema.

But for me always Yondu was someone I liked, he is tough and softy on the inside. Finally we get to know his purpose and a little of his back story. For me his story line and finale itself made me happy.

There are many cameos to look forward to here. The movie is entertaining, but it is not as great as the first one was atleast for me. It will please the MCU fans coming out with a smile and tears. It has many Baby Groot moments for you to swoon for even his post credit scene is good.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is more about family reunions and past. It is entertaining and inspired by many movies. It even features Zune music player (A lost and forgotten 'masterpiece'). It even contains some sex and penis jokes, kudos to Disney for going PG - 13 + here.
